We are from Oyster River High School in Durham, New Hampshire. We have students from Durham, Lee, Madbury, and Barrington, as well as mentors from the surrounding area.
Our team was started by a group of friends in 2011. Since then, our team has doubled in size, with around 20 students and around 6 mentors.
We pride ourselves in being student run and student built. We care most about students learning from their experience here on team 3499.
Every January we get a new challenge. We then have 6 weeks to build a robot. We often stay up late into the night. Students gain communication skills, teamwork skills, and problem solving abilities as well as skills that relate to engineering.
